Boasting of the first netbook that has an appeal of a notebook, a new netbook has been announced by Packard Bell. The model is named as the dot m/u.
It seems that the model by Acer-owned Packard Bell is very much similar to the Acer Aspire 1410 and with a 11.6 inches screen, whether it is a netbook sounds doubtful.
And if it is a netbook, then its price, at £399 is surely that of a notebook.
The screen has an aspect ratio of 16:9. Upto eight hours of working capacity is offered by the 6-cell Li-ion battery.
With an option of RAM of up to 4GB, the storage can be as high as 500 GB.
Other important features include 5-in-1 card reader, Wi-Fi, microphone, webcam and optional Bluetooth and 3G connectivity.
The netbook cum notebook will be available in markets on 22nd October.
